Cookie policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Scope for scolasign.com. The international website scolasign.com does not place any audience-measurement or advertising cookies, and therefore shows no cookie banner. The policy below, translated from the French website, applies to scolasign.fr and to the ScolaSign application, which you reach when you log in or start a free trial.

This page lists the cookies and trackers placed by scolasign.fr, their purpose and their lifetime. You can change your choice at any time.

I. Scope

This policy applies to the scolasign.fr website. It supplements the legal notice and the privacy policy, and describes only the trackers placed while you browse the showcase website.

II. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file placed by a website on your device and sent back to the server during your subsequent visits. Other techniques, such as the browser's local storage, perform an equivalent function without being cookies in the strict sense: the regulations treat them in the same way, and this page therefore lists them together.

A tracker may be used for the operation of the website, to measure its traffic, or for advertising purposes. Only the first two uses exist on scolasign.fr.

III. Who places these trackers

Ad Cognita, a société par actions simplifiée (simplified joint-stock company) with a share capital of €100, whose registered office is located at 2 impasse de Montargues, 07000 Freyssenet, France, registered under SIREN number 932 943 400, is the controller. Publication director: Gilles Arnaud.

Audience measurement relies on Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, which acts as a processor. Data is transmitted to Google only after your acceptance.

IV. Cookies and trackers used

Only two categories are present on this website. The trackers necessary for operation store your consent choice: without them, you would be asked the question again on every page. Audience measurement trackers count visits on an aggregated basis and are placed only with your consent.

ScolaSign does not place any advertising cookies or social network trackers and does not resell any browsing data.

The website also uses Ahrefs Analytics, a traffic measurement service that does not place any cookie on your device. It is loaded as soon as the page is displayed, before you make any choice: your IP address and the address of the page viewed are then transmitted to its provider, Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., a company governed by Singapore law (Singapore). This transfer does not appear in the table below, which lists only the trackers placed on your device.

_ga_QHDXHW1PWMGoogle Ireland Limited13 months, renewed on each visit Measures browsing sessions on the website. Yes

V. Retention periods

The cookie that distinguishes visitors is retained for thirteen months from when it is first placed and is not extended during your subsequent visits, in accordance with the recommendation of the CNIL (French data protection authority). The session measurement cookie is renewed on each visit, up to a limit of thirteen months.

The data that these trackers make it possible to collect is retained for a maximum of twenty-five months, then deleted.

Your acceptance or refusal is retained for six months. After this period, you are asked the question again.

VI. Changing your choice

On scolasign.fr, the “Manage cookies” link, at the bottom of each page, reopens the consent window and allows you to reconsider your decision at any time. Refusing does not entail any restriction of access to the website.

You can also configure your browser to block cookies or to be notified when they are placed. This setting then applies to all the websites you visit and may impair the operation of some of them.

VII. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you have the right of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding the data concerning you. Send your request to contact@scolasign.fr.

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL, the French data protection authority), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France.
