ScolaSign was not dreamt up in a software company's office: it was born in a training organisation, working day to day with sign-in sheets, absence notes and audits.
ScolaSign is published by Ad Cognita, a training organisation based in Freyssenet, in the Ardèche (France), founded by Gilles Arnaud. Like everyone in vocational training, Ad Cognita knows the reality of the job from the inside: paper sign-in sheets that get passed around, lost or returned incomplete, reminders for a missing signature, binders to rebuild before every audit.
Rather than put up with this administrative burden, we decided to build the tool we were missing. ScolaSign is the result: a digital attendance solution designed by people who prepare audits and track learner attendance themselves, not a product drawn up far from the classroom.
This experience guides every product decision: if a feature does not save time for a training centre or an apprenticeship training centre, it has no place in ScolaSign.
Replacing paper attendance sheets with time-stamped electronic signatures that are reliable and ready for audit, for training centres, apprenticeship training centres (known in France as CFAs) and schools, without complicating daily life for staff or learners.
Signing in should take a few seconds, not a training session. The interface stays clear for admin staff, trainers and learners.
ScolaSign was built to meet some of the strictest attendance-evidence requirements in Europe: France's Qualiopi quality certification and the audits of French public training funders. Those rules apply only in France, but the same rigour serves training centres and schools everywhere: time-stamped sign-in sheets, signatures traceable under the EU eIDAS regulation, data processing that respects the GDPR.
All of our customers' data (signatures, timetables, absence notes) is hosted in France, within the European Union.
